Wow! It was very cold on Saturday morning ...35 degrees but felt like 25 degrees. But, once we started working, we all warmed up. I am so proud that we had 28 students and 6 parents come to help out. There is so much work in getting the Christmas tree lot set up. We split into crews and helped put up fencing, carry posts and materials for the lot, cleaned out a storage garage so that they would have room for the trees, moved contents of the garage to the barn, and moved a whole woodpile! Brian Busbee of Calvary said he was so impressed that we got so much done in 4 hours! They day ended with lunch - grilled hot dogs around the fire pit ! We enjoyed giving back!
